Founded in 2015, Shield AI is a venture-backed defense technology company whose mission is to protect service members and civilians with intelligent systems. In pursuit of this mission, Shield AI is building the world’s best AI pilot. Job Description:
As a Senior Manager of Business Operations, you will work closely with the COO and the Sr. Director of Business Operations to define, implement, and measure execution of priority initiatives. You will be responsible for managing competing priorities and driving alignment in a fast-paced environment and producing best-in-class materials for these projects. You will also help define and realize the COO’s vision for a high-performance, continuous improvement culture.

Salary compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location. All offers are contingent on a cleared background and possible reference check.

Organizational Alignment: Support the COO with developing, driving, and communicating overall Operations strategy
- Work with the COO to develop, plan and execute key initiatives in line with top priorities
- Communicate operational priorities, activities, and results to the broader organization
Operational Excellence: Support the COO with execution of:
- Maintain strong pulse and feedback loop on organizational needs and issues
- Identify process gaps, propose solutions, and implement process improvements
- Problem-solve specific business issues as they arise, identify solution options, facilitate decision meetings, and drive execution post decision
- Gather, organize, and synthesize key operational data to inform decision making
- Monitor performance of and continuously improve key cross functional corporate processes to drive operational excellence
- Create and implement corporate operational plans; drive accountability and follow through across key stakeholders and action officers
