The Senior Manager of Human Resources Operations will support our People Experience team. This position will play a lead role in the development, implementation, management, support, and maintenance of Shield AI’s people policies. This position is responsible for providing strategic direction balanced with excellent analytical expertise to execute as we continue to scale our operations. We are looking for someone with expertise implementing best-in-class practices who can serve as a thought leader across the organization.

Shield AI is at the early stages of building out our People Experience infrastructure. We’re looking for someone who knows what is possible from a systems processes and infrastructure perspective and is ready to help create this at Shield AI.

This position will report directly to the Chief People Officer and provide daily direction to the People Experience team members.

Salary Range:  Base + Bonus + Benefits + Equity (if applicable)

Location guidelines-
Onsite = 5 days/week
Hybrid = Several days in the office
Remote = Remote but able to come to the office as requested for business needs

    • Oversee resolution of the day-to-day issues from onboarding and orientation through termination and offboarding
    • Lead the development, implementation and support of our HR technology roadmap.
    • Collaborate in supportive partnerships with the broader People team and partners to develop, document and implement People processes.
    • Maintain knowledge of current and upcoming changes regarding local employment law and legislation. Work with partners to support rollout of compliance programs.
    • Be hands-on in supporting the roll out of international expansions, and global HR projects.
    • Develop a People Analytics strategy, metrics dashboards and easy access to people data.
    • Document and maintain standard operating procedures. Tailor existing SOPs to meet business specific needs and changes.
    • Support M&A process management, to include audit, global compliance, workers council liasioning, due diligence and project management supporting HR Business Partners and key M&A stakeholders.
    • Stay current on industry best practices recommending evolution and improvements within this team.
    • 8+ years of HR systems experience including minimum of 5 years of experience in operations; 2 years experience leading a team
    • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
    • Strong HR functional expertise with operations, enterprise-wide policies, technology, data and analytics
    • Ability to influence stakeholders and build relationships at all levels of the organization
    • Ability to work as a “hands-on” manager and willingness to "roll up your sleeves" to get things done
    • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills while exercising sound judgment
    • Proven experience handling confidential and sensitive information with the ability to exercise discretion and show good judgment; honesty, integrity, and trust-building behaviors in all dealings is essential and required in this role
    • Masters Degree
    • 4+ years of management experience in the tech industry
