ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Support and assist senior staff scientists and engineers in design, simulation, test, and integration of advanced electronic hardware and circuits. Set up and conduct testing and characterization of electronic devices and circuits. Report and present results to technical staff. Write software to control and collect data from devices and systems.

EXPERIENCE DESIRED

Hands on experience with electronic circuits and devices. Experience with testing and designing of analog and digital circuits. Knowledgeable about standard electronic test equipment such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, and signal generators. Soldering and assembly of printed circuit boards and test fixtures. Familiar with Matlab and other design and simulation tools.

EDUCATION DESIRED

Upper level undergraduate or graduate student in Electrical Engineering with hands-on experience in the test and design of mixed signal circuits

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Proficiency in use of computers, engineering work stations, verbal and written communication, interaction with customers/colleagues, and a deadline-driven/fast-paced environment.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
U.S. citizenship is required.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $22 - $35 per hour.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
