Essential Duties:
Contact vendors and liaise between engineers, scientists, procurement and suppliers to research and gather data to approve or reject suppliers, as well as to resolve supplier issues.
Conduct supplier quality audits on a regular basis to ensure vendors and their supplies remain in compliance with company and federal manufacturing, AS9100 and/or ISO9001 production standards.
Quality liaison for SCARs (Supplier Corrective Action Reports)- Work with Procurement to communicate with vendors to address any concerns and foster an environment that facilitates continual improvement.
Maintain a supplier database with documentation/reports and include performance evaluations and quality control audits in the database. for in-house access by company and management personnel.
Manage the CPP (Counterfeit Parts Prevention) process, including training.
Develop/maintain a receipt inspection process to verify affected procurements (i.e., procurement specifications, CPP, etc.).
Perform quality approvals for Purchase Requisitions, and apply flow down requirements as needed.
Manage the Supplier Quality process with a risk-based approach to comply with all AS9100/ISO9001 requirements.
Work with Procurement to ensure all supplier quality requirements are in place & up to date.
Understand, participate and interpret all internal and external 3rd party audits, including AS9100 and other industry standards.
Navigate a hybrid environment of AS9100, ISO9001 and research level programs to mature the supplier quality processes for appropriate compliance.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
Application of industry standards, i.e. AS9100/ISO9001.
Planning & administering supplier audits.
Leading process improvements.
Quality inspection for incoming products (CPP and vs. specifications).
Supplier Corrective Actions (SCAR) process.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Desired Skills:
Supplier quality management processes.
Communication with internal and external customers.
Government compliance and quality control regulatory standards (i.e. GIDEP).
Risk based approach.
Self-directed, flexible and able to manage multiple projects.
EDUCATION DESIRED
BS in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related fields, or equivalent work experience.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $70,200 - $117,000 + bonus + benefits.
