Deepgram is looking to hire a Technical Solutions Engineer to help new users quickly get productive with Deepgram’s speech API and SDKs and achieve their desired objectives. You will guide new users on architecting their APIs/applications by addressing their technical queries and resolving issues. Internally, you will act as the user's voice within the company and liaise with internal stakeholders like the Product Management and the Support Engineering teams to surface and drive necessary changes across product, documentation, and technical solutions.
Salary range of USD $100,000 to $165,000 base plus variable and equity regardless of location

    • Proactively reaching out to new API users and helping them get productive
    • Setting up, creating, and managing communication channels like office hours sessions, emails, calls, Github discussions, Discord, etc., that new users can use to get their questions answered
    • Use your understanding of our API and backend development to answer questions, troubleshoot problems, and provide deep technical expertise
    • Coordinate with the support engineering team to resolve any issues reported by new users within SLAs
    • Work with the Product team to tweak the onboarding and overall Product UX for a better developer experience
    • Work with the Documentation team to ensure our docs address common questions and use-cases
    • Have a lot of fun problem-solving and building side projects with APIs

    • Are capable of hack-n-slash programming in Python, JavaScript, Go, C#
    • Have experience creating technical content, either as written tutorials, videos, or other formats
    • Proven experience quickly learning complex technical concepts and teaching them to audiences of various levels of experience
    • If you have a small following in online technical communities
    • If you have experience working with both Engineering and ML end-users
    • If you have a background supporting use cases related to audio, voice, speech, NLP, or NLU
