About the role:

The Technical Trainer will help define and build our training and education program to train thousands of developers to succeed with Ray and to build scalable applications.

Education and training play a crucial role in growing the Ray community and broadening the reach of our work.

As a key member of our training team, you’ll be responsible for contributing to our curriculum strategy and execution, developing the training materials, and, if you are interested, delivering the training to our many Ray and Anyscale users.

    • Develop technical training materials for Ray and Anyscale
    • Engage in the e2e courses lifecycle, from conceiving course ideas, to design, to develop materials, to iterate and improve

      • Your focus will be:
    • 80% of time courses development: scenarios, diagrams, technical implementations and explanations, videos, slides, course testing procedures
    • 20% of time participating in the in-person events.
    • Up to 10% travel (mostly US)
    • Have experience building and running technical training programs
    • Are highly technical and love writing code
    • 3+ years experience in practical ML/AI with Python
    • Are a strong written and verbal communicator
    • Love being hands-on and feel strong ownership over all pieces of training development
    • Can thrive in a fast-moving and unstructured environment
    • At Anyscale, we take a market-based approach to compensation. We are data-driven, transparent, and consistent. The target salary for this role is $157,000 - $187,612. As the market data changes over time, the target salary for this role may be adjusted.
