Salary Range: Your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position, the reasonably expected pay range is between $120,000 - 186,000 USD for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package.

    • Develop drive-by-wire functions and software with redundancy and diagnosis.
    • Collaborate with OEM and suppliers/component manufacturers to develop control systems architectures, including software, model and simulation development.
    • Perform electrical and software integration and introduction of drive-by-wire systems on new autonomous vehicles platforms.
    • Ensure reliable vehicle operation of drive-by-wire actuators in all modes of operation across various vehicle platforms.
    • Troubleshoot, triage and provide diagnostic support for field issues related to the vehicle control system

    • Previous experience working closely with mechanical, electrical, and software teams on vehicle or robotic systems. 4+ years with BS, 2+ years with MS.
    • Demonstrated experience in/with MATLAB Simulink and C/C++ experience
    • Knowledge of automotive electrical architectures, control system design and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
    • Good understanding and working experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN and CAN-FD.
    • Able to read and understand basic electronic schematics.
    • Familiar with ROS or other Robotics Middleware.
    • Experience working with EVs and/or Autonomous Vehicles.
    • Experience with common automotive instrumentation and calibration tools for ECUs, such as CANape, PCAN, CANalyzer, CANoe, etc.
