This is an opportunity to play a key role in a fast-growing start-up company with high-talent-density. You'll be taking our organization to the next level, working with a team that is scaling globally, fast.  Therefore, we are looking for a strong and experienced HR leader who will bring the knowledge of what “modern” HR looks like with a desire to build a strategic, business oriented and hands-on HR function. The ideal candidate will have had prior #1 HR ownership from a technology-based company with a balance of established scale and high growth start-up experiences.

You will work closely with the CEO and all members of the executive team. You establish the necessary foundational platform of systems, policies, and technology to enable successful growth without encumbering entrepreneurial innovation. You will build a global world-class HR organization with overall HR operational excellence and business-rooted employee growth, satisfaction, engagement, and talent acquisition strategies.
Responsibilities:
· Own and lead the HR strategy while mentoring and retaining the HR team aligned with the company’s growth and scaling.
· Partner with the Executive Team to develop a talent management strategy that supports business objectives and enables operational excellence.
· Challenge business leaders on people related topics, actively engaging in the strategic and/or tactical direction, problem statements, OKR, and priorities.
· Iterate our programs: Manage the development of compensation, performance management, talent development, and learning & development programs.
· Develop People programs that are creative, transformative, and support the long-term goals and vision of the company.
· Evolve and deliver diversity and inclusion strategies, programs, and practices in partnership with the leadership team.
· Improve efficiency at scale: Design, implement and maintain processes, tools, and systems needed to grow and support people operations while balancing that with a forward-thinking employee experience strategy.
· Thoughtfully communicate status of key initiatives and programs as necessary at all levels of the company.
· Ensure statutory compliance is managed and adhered to accordingly by liaising with government authorities appointed under various labour and controlling acts.
· Drafts and implements the organizations staffing budget, and the budget for the human resource department.
· Participates in professional development and networking conferences and events.
· Tell the Axelera AI “People Story” internally and externally; Partner with Marketing and Communications to evolve our employer brand and ensure it reflects Axelera AI’ s culture and values.
· Create and foster and environment of best practice and drive the organization towards being an employer of choice.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Personal Requirements:

In this role you’ll be the ultimate owner of the single most important asset at Axelera AI - our People - and responsible for making Axelera AI a best place to work. The ideal candidate has the following experiences and qualifications:

· Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organization Psychology, Business Administration, or related field required.
· Minimum 10 years of prior senior management level experience with an international scope within Human Resources.
· You demonstrate a combination of strong business acumen and significant Human Resources functional knowledge to guide the policies and strategies that provide partnership to the business and the employees.
· Conceptual strong, to be able to deal with high tech complexity & a quick thinking environment to deal effectively with shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
· Proven track-record in scale up and high-growth (>500 people) technology company.
· Proven track record of recruiting and developing top talent along with bringing about operational excellence.
· Professional level ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and employees.
· Having sound knowledge about European HR laws, should be able to lead, implement, and uphold all relevant statutory laws and regulations.
· High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
· Results and people oriented but have sound judgment—ability to balance other business considerations; service oriented, but assertive/persuasive.
· Demonstrated skills in influencing others, interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
· Excellent communication skills in English both verbally and in writing. German or Dutch language skills are considered as a plus.
