Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President of Sales to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record of success in developing and executing successful sales strategies in the AI hardware and software industry. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing long-term profitable relationships with customers, and leading the sales team in achieving their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy that supports the company's growth objectives
Identify new sales opportunities and generate revenue through effective lead generation and qualification
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners
- Work with the marketing team to develop effective sales collateral and messaging
- Build, lead and motivate the sales team to achieve their goals and objectives
- Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports
- Provide regular updates to the executive team on sales performance and market trends
- Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company and generate leads
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure customer needs are being met and product roadmaps align with sales objectives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 10+ years of sales experience in the AI hardware and software industry, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and developing profitable relationships with customers
- experience in edge computing and embedded market
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a high-performing sales team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Knowledge of computer vision and natural language processing technologies is a plus
- Willingness to travel as needed
